Dear Friends and Fellow Animal Lovers,

The Atlanta Humane Society is currently conducting their annual fundraiser.  This is our big opportunity to help save a life.   The theme  is JUST ONE.  It costs $264 to save one life at the humane society.  This includes everything from the time an animal (dogs and cats) enters the shelter to the time they get adopted into their furever (as they like to say) home.  They neuter, microchip, vaccinate, x-ray, do bloodwork and even perform surgeries at the shelter.

I started volunteering at the shelter in May of 2017.  It has been an amazing experience.  Most of you have heard me talk about my time at the shelter and the dogs that I have loved during this time.  They are all very special and enjoy all of the time and attention we give to them.  In 2019 I volunteered for 461 hours.  

I have fostered a dog and been a champion for 11 dogs to date.  As a champion I work with specific dogs that have behavorial issues to help them improve and make them more adoptable.  It is extremely rewarding to see their transformation.  

Clearly, this is a passion of mine.  I hope you will consider donating to support me and the animals we will save. It takes just one donation to change everything.
