As a no-kill organization, the Atlanta Humane Society cares for animals as long as it takes to find their forever family. It’s a lot of work, and it can be taxing on our resources, but the animals entrusted into our care deserve it.
We are a local nonprofit organization, receive no government funding, and are not under any umbrella humane society or organization. We rely on the heartfelt compassion of people like you in Atlanta to make our lifesaving work possible.
AHS has served Atlanta's animals and Animal Welfare in the metro area, Georgia and beyond for over 145 years. Join me in helping the Atlanta Humane Society provide aid to animals in need and continue in its mission to improve animal welfare in the southeastern United States.
