What Can You Do?

For 147 years Atlanta Humane Society has been working to touch the lives of thousands of animals and people. It is one of the oldest Atlanta charities and has been a pillar of support for the metro-Atlanta community since 1873. In 2018, over 10,000 animals found second chances with loving homes through our care.
But that's not all Atlanta Humane Society does! For many people in Atlanta we have provided lost-cost spay/neuter services, free vaccines, dog training, and support in figuring out how to re-home their beloved companions when life takes an unexpected turn. In recent years, Atlanta Humane Society has been making moves to expand their support to more than just the metro-Atlanta area. We have partnerships with rescues and shelters all over the Southeast, we have worked rescues operations in the face of natural disasters, and we have been involved in large rescues operations involving the illegal breeding and hoarding of animals.
All this is only possible because of the support of amazing people like you! We are a nonprofit organization, receive no government funding, and are not under any umbrella humane society or organization.
So, what can you do?
We have an army of dedicated volunteers and fosters that are always looking for new recruits. We are always in need of physical donations in the form of newspapers, towels, and other miscellaneous items necessary to keep shelters running. But today, you have the opportunity to be a part of our Day of Giving. We are fundraising from now until March 5th to save the lives of the animals still waiting for us.
Anything helps.
Thank you,
Megan, Ripley, and Luna
**As of 1/24/2020 we have raised my first goal of $264, which on average, covers the cost of saving one animal! Let's go for 2!**
