Lamar County Puppy Mill Rescue

Great Pyrenees, Bernese Mountain Dogs, and Goldendoodles were found living in neglectful conditions at a puppy mill in Lamar County. 44 dogs and puppies living outside with no food and no drinkable water. The conditions inside the pens was deplorable.

The Atlanta Humane Society, alongside Lamar County Sheriff's Office and the Lamar County District Attorney's Office have now removed the animals from the property. The property owners have been taken into custody.

16 of these dogs and puppies have arrived at the Atlanta Humane Society Howell Mill Campus. All are heavily matted, covered in feces, and underweight. Several have medical needs that have been neglected for some time.
